El Al's 777-258ER fleet are Boeing777-200ERs delivered in 2017-2018.
- El Al is the best and only airline to fly to and from Israel. However, their business class seats on the Boeing 777 are probably the worst I have ever sat it. I had seat 10C roundtrip and it is a bulkhead seat and I am not overly tall, only about six feet tall and my feet did not have enough room to stretch out.
- El Al's first Boeing 777 embarked on its maiden flight in March 2000. Later that year the controversy over flights on Shabbat erupted again, when the airline announced that it was losing US$55 million a year by grounding its planes on Saturdays.
